Director Wants NTR's film on HOLD

Choreographer-turned-Director Prabhu Deva is the most sought of after technician to direct the Hindi remakes of Telugu hits after the stupendous success of Salman Khan's Wanted (Pokiri) and Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore (Vikramarkudu) at the Box Office. Interestingly, PD's next outing 'Ramayya Vastavayya' too is a remake of Telugu super hit 'Nuvvu Vastanante Nenu Vadhantana').

Now, our remake specialist has eyed NTR's recent release Baadshah to set the cash registers ringing. He even asked producer Bandla Ganesh to keep the remake rights of the film on hold, so that he could get the call sheets of a leading B-Town hero soon.

Bandla Ganesh confirms the news and claims he would be more than happy if Prabhu Deva remakes his film in Bollywood as that would make it to reach a wider audience. He promised to inform the choreographer if he finalizes the deal with some other director/producer.

Notably, Baadshah Hindi dubbing rights were sold for a whooping Rs 2.25 crores and the remake rights will be fetching at least one to two crores more than this figure.
