Charan even didn't use the twitter platform to convey his greetings or share his happiness over the success of the film. "He has time to talk about KFC Burger and Fly (Eega) in his hotel room, but not for his own Babai" opines a die-hard fan of Pawan.

Ram Charan grabs Mahesh Babu's project?
Celebrated Tamil director Lingu Swamy is a big fan of Mahesh Babu. He tried to make a film with Mahesh many a time, but was not entertained by Mahesh for unknown reasons. Despite of his star status in Tamil cinema, Linguswamy constantly met Mahesh to get a nod from him. However, Mahesh was reluctant to work with Tamil directors.
Lingu Swamy has reportedly written a script keeping Mahesh Babu in mind. Superstar didn't even bother to hear that script till now. Disappointed Lingu Swamy approached Ram Charan with the same storyline and the mega power star showed keen interest to work with him. Charan has been in plans to make a full time Telugu and Tamil film to get a better slice of Tamil market.
Lingu Swamy is the director with 80% success record in Tamilnadu. His Tamil films dubbed into Telugu (Run, Pandem Kodi, Aawara) did well in Telugu. Lingu Swamy is known for making racy commercial entertainers with loads of action. Charan is impressed with the director's style of handling the film. If Charan doesn't back out of the project, this film will be launched next year without fail.

Ram Charan teases Tamannaah about marriage
Ram Charan and Tamannaah have become good friends thanks to Racha. The film was shot for more than eight months and as a result of that the two actors share a good rapport both on and off the screen. Recently, in an interview, the duo spoke about the film and their lives in general and Tamannaah said, ?Most of the actors I had paired up with are getting married.? Case in point ? 'Racha' Warning To DSP & Thaman
A warning is issued to the top music directors of Telugu Film Industry regarding 'Racha'. Off course, 'Racha' is a blockbuster but still there is something one should learn from that.
In fact, 'Racha' has given a chance for melody Brahma 'Mani Sharma' to come back. Yet, Mani proved nothing new with the music of this mass flick, except remixing a yesteryear song that was already a hit. Songs of this Ramcharan's flick are no bigger than 'Dookudu' and 'Gabbar Singh'. Sources revealed that both Thaman and DSP, the creators of the above said two movies are asked not to repeat 'Racha'. Charan wants to avoid mass-beats and lousy numbers that are useful only for dance shows but not creating stupendous craze.

Magadheera remains a distant dream!
Magadheera was released on July 31st, 2009. Almost three years passed by and it's all time record is still untouchable. It has collected over 70 crore rupees in Telugu alone. There is no other film that came close to this figure in these three years. Dookudu collected around 55 crore rupees in full run, but couldn't beat Magadheera's record.
Until last year there were attempts to recreate Magadheera (Shakti and Badrinath), but it looks like the heroes and directors have given up the idea of breaking Magadheera's record. Right now the focus of every big film is on breaking the first week record by releasing the movie in highest possible number of theaters.
Businessman and Racha did 40+ crore rupees business and now Dammu too is aiming for that mark. All these are mass films that have a certain limit and reach. Magadheera had that wow factor that helped it to go those extra miles. Until or unless some star studded film with wonderful content coupled with that wow factor arrives, Magadheera will remain a distant dream.

Petitioners open to resolve Charan's Zanjeer issue
The remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Zanjeer has landed in legal trouble as the original writers of the film, Javed Akthar and Salim Khan, has approached the court few days ago over the copyright issue. Although the writers had sent legal notice to producer Amit Mehra, they are open to resolve the issue outside the court. "We are hopeful that this will be solved in friendly manner. We can still solve the issue by sitting across the table and coming to an understanding. If this didn't work, we will proceed further legally," said Javed Akthar, Bollywood renowned writer-lyricist.
The entire issue took a serious turn when the writers demanded a whopping amount for remake rights of the film and the producer is not ready to fulfill their greedy demands.
Ram Charan will step into the shoes of Amitabh and Priyanka Chopra will reprise the role of Jaya Bachchan for the remake. Versatile actor Prakash Raj, Bollywood hunk Arjun Rampal, hottie Mahie Gill were chosen for pivotal roles. Apoorva Lakhia will be directing the remake of this Iconic cop flick. Racha scores Rs 15 cr nett at Karnataka
Ram Charan Teja's recent release Racha, which has a recording breaking collection in Andhra Pradesh, had a great business in Karnataka too. According to trade analysts in the state, the Sampath Nandhi-directed movie has collected approximate Rs 15 crores nett at Box Office.
The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) had restricted the release of non-Kannada movies to 24 theatres. But recently, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has imposed a fine on KFCC for obstructing ?free trade?. This development has opened the floodgates for statewide release of non-Kannada films.
Following this development, Racha is the first film to release in more than 24 screens. Ram Charan Teja starrer movie was officially released in 90 screens and another 20-30 screens without advertisements in the state. According to trade circles, it is the first big beneficiary and is said to have collected up to Rs 15 crore in the state.
However, another Telugu film, Dammu is now set to release in 150 screens in the state this week. It should be seen whether this movie will do better business than Racha and break its record in Karnataka Box Office.
Racha 3 Week Collections: Ram charan's latest release Racha collections are phenomenal at box office. Trade sources says, Racha has collected an estimated amount of 41,37,00,000 crores share for 18 days. As the new releases failed to attract the audience, the collections of Racha haven't witnessed any drop in the third week. The Film is running successfully to packed houses in B and C centers and in some parts of A centers too. Overall, Racha has turned out to be a money spinner for the distributors and turned out to be one of the highest grossers of Tollywood.
More legal woes for Zanjeer remake
Salim-Javed send a legal notice to Amit Mehra, producer of the remake of their 1973 blockbuster claiming royalties, say they need their dues as per proposed copyright amendment bill
Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan, the writer duo of the original Zanjeer had been rather miffed with Amit Mehra, who with nothing more than their 'blessings' had gone ahead and started shooting the remake.
We had told you how, Akhtar had even sought legal help regarding the issue. And now, the veteran writers have jointly sent a legal notice to Mehra claiming royalties for the script that they had penned decades back.
Javed Akhtar, who had been on the committee that reviewed the latest Copyright Amendment Bill of 2011, has been the first one to stand up for the rights that the Act ensures.
The Bill upholds the Rights of an author in an entire product such as films. And though Amit Mehra, son of producer Prakash Mehra may have the rights of the film, sharing royalties with the scriptwriters becomes essential.
When contacted, Akhtar told Mumbai Mirror, "We have hired a well-known Delhi based legal firm, Luthra & Luthra. We have also sent a notice to Amit Mehra. We have asked him to start a negotiation. He had earlier met us thrice and every time avoided discussing royalties."
Mehra's public announcement about gathering Salim-Javed's blessings for free too seems to have bothered the writer. "And now, he has gone ahead and started shooting for the film. We have sent him a legal notice yesterday," said Akhtar and added, "Salim Khan and I are on the same page regarding the matter. Solicitor Ameet Datta is representing us jointly. In a few days we will hold a press conference to discuss the issue with everyone."
"Maintaining legal control of your work is critical and this is what the Copyright Act intends. The simple thing that one has to understand is that when the screenplay was written - it was for being developed into a particular film.
While the producer does retain the overall rights for the product - which is the film, one cannot deny that the creative rights of the screenplay writer cannot be ignored," said solicitor Ameet Datta of Luthra & Luthra, Law Offices, Delhi, which is handling the case of Salim-Javed.
Explaining the need for consent of the authors for using the screenplay for a film remake is besides the point, Datta said that across the world such norms are followed.
"It is unfortunate that the film industry in India has ignored the same and for long. But in our opinion it is a fit case that the duo is contesting for one of their most popular screenplays. They are right in saying that not only their consent should be taken for remaking a film based on their screenplay as apart from. Copyright ownership, the authors also retained moral rights on the screenplay, but they should also be consulted on their royalties, which otherwise if their creative rights were protected-would anyway come to them," added Datta.
When contacted, Amit Mehra refused to comment.
Priyanka's Angry Young Man gets a crew cut

When Telugu superstar Ramcharan Teja came to Mumbai last Wednesday to meet the cast and crew of the Hindi-Telugu bilingual Zanjeer, the first thing that director Apoorva Lakhia did was to take Teja for a crew-cut hairstyle.
?In the original Zanjeer, Amitabh Bachchan flaunted long hair, almost covering his ears, which became the rage of the nation. But the new Vijay will sport a hairstyle like a crew-cut, ? says a source close to the movie.
Teja was also in town to plan his action sequences with Arjun Rampal and meet his co-star Priyanka Chopra, who will speak all her Telugu lines, herself.
Teja and Rampal play the roles that were essayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Pran in the original Zanjeer.
Says a source close to the project, ?The combat scene between Amitji and Pran in Zanjeer was one of the film?s highlights. For Teja and Rampal, it will be a bare-chested fist-to-fist gory sequence of approximately seven minutes.?
Co-producer Amit Mehra says, ?Yes, Teja is here. And we?re planning the action sequences. Javed and Eijaaz who choreographed gritty fight sequences in Shootout At Lokhandwala and The Dirty Picture will direct the action sequences in Zanjeer.?
Teja will also spend time with real cops in the city, before the shoot starts this month. Commenting on his meeting with his co-star, Teja says, ?I met Priyanka Chopra and she is a warm and fun person. My hair looks different! Apoorva?s enthusiasm level is really high, ? smiles Teja.

He is currently remaking Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan's 1973 blockbuster Zanjeer by playing the angry young man inspector Vijay. This may not be called as a clash but it sure will lead to comparison at a future date. We are talking about the duo of power star Pawan Kalyan and mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej. Both would be put on the same table and points will be given for their performances.
Well, Pawan is arriving as a rustic cop with mass appeal through his film 'Gabbar Singh' and this is happening soon. On the other hand, Charan has just begun shooting for his movie 'Zanjeer 2' which will see him portraying a rather intense and tough police officer who is honest and straightforward.

Mass movies will never impress critics and they don't get better reviews from anyone, but if they strike the right chords with the target audience, then sky is the limit. Most of the frontline critics have written off Racha as a poorly made film, but they failed to read the commercially viable elements in the film. That is the reason why the film got super hit talk right from the first show.
Other heroes fans and the people who have written it off waited for the film to slow down after first weekend. But Racha's racha continued until the first week records were shattered. Even then it hasn't slowed down. The collections on 13th day are steady without a hint of drop. 2 weeks collections of Racha will stand above 2 weeks collections of Businessman, which is currently in the 3rd spot in all time hits list.
After Magadheera (70+ crores), Dookudu (55+ crores) only Businessman managed to cross 40 crore mark and it is right now in the third position. But Racha is going to take its place for sure as per the collections trend. There will not be any strong opposition for Racha in its third week too. Therefore the dream run will continue until Dammu arrives. Which means Racha in all probabilities will make it to top 3 list. Of course if Dhammu clicks and reach the expectations then Racha's third rank would be at stake. Who knows even Dookudu might be toppled if not Magadheera.

Ram Charan Yevadu New Schedule Details
Mega Power Star Ram Charan's new movie 'Yevadu' under the direction of Vamsi Paidipalli will begin its new schedule on April 27. However, Ram Charan will join the sets of Yevadu on April 30 as he is currently in Mumbai shooting for his maiden Bollywood movie 'Zanjeer'. The unit will film crucial scenes of the film on Ram Charan and other cast in Hyderabad in this schedule. Dil Raju is producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, while Vamsi Paidipalli directs it. Allu Arjun is playing a pivotal role and Samantha, Amy Jackson are playing female leads. Ram Charan has registered yet another big hit with Racha, which is poised to enter the top 3 list of all times hits of Telugu cinema. Charan already holds the number 1 film record and with Racha he proved that he can be a super power at the box office without any help of any well known director. Charan's talent was spotted by Bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia and he is introducing him to B town with the film Zanjeer.
This is a remake of Amitabh's yesteryear's hit Zanjeer that earned him the angry young man image. Apoorva had a choice of approaching Abhishek Bachan to play the lead role in it. Ram Charan Surprises Zanjeer Team
Mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej has taken the bold step by foraying into Bollywood and this is happening through the remake of the movie Zanjeer. Now, the big question for many is- can Charan speak fluent Hindi. Well, it is heard that the young superstar has already made his preparations.
Buzz is that his character is being etched in such a way that most of the time his silence would convey what he wants to say. Charan facing biggest challenge of his career
Ram Charan feels stepping into Amitabh Bachchan's shoes with the remake of iconic film Zanjeer is the biggest challenge of his life. "Till now, dealing with being Megastar Chiru's son has been a challenge. But that's nothing when compared with what I'm facing at present," said Charan, when asked how he feels to play the role portrayed by India's biggest star nearly four decades ago.
The young actor is not bothered about the comparisons being drawn between him and Big B. "All through my career, I have gone through constant comparisons. If I think about how I'll be compared with my father or Amit Ji, I wouldn't be able to get into the skin of the character. I just did the things that I'm good at and what came naturally to me," he told.
The Magadheera star says language doesn't matter much and clarified that he sees debuting into Bollywood as just like an extension of what he is already doing.
Ram Charan upset with rumors !
Ram Charan is quite upset with the rumors that Zanjeer's female lead Priyanka Chopra is getting paid more pay package than him. "Priyanka is being paid 'on par' or 'more than' Charan" is the talk in media circles.
However, the unit sources have confirmed that these reports were speculative. In fact, the makers had already paid a whopping Rs 10 crore to Charan and the young actor would be pocketing another Rs 2 crore after wrapping up the entire shoot. Overall, Charan's pay pack is Rs 12 crore (excluding other expenses). When it comes to Priyanka, she is not even getting half of what Charan is being paid. Her pay pack is just Rs 5.5 crore and another Rs 50 lakhs was allotted to her (for Travelling Expenses, Five Star Hotels accomodation and Food).
Charan clearly holds the upper hand over the film's leading lady in this 70-crore Hind-Telugu bi-lingual. So, worldwide Racha share stands at approximately ? 2.24 crores which is very good in nay terms considering the content and genre of the movie which has too many MASS elements.
Anlysis: Racha was bought for 3.15cr (2.75cr copy rights + 40laks for prints, publicity, Digital expenses and shipping charges etc), so NET LOSS is Rs 89laks for a movie which got Hit talk in India.
So, Racha is BIG LOOSER for overseas territory considering the HUGE price it bought for, if the movie is bought for reasonably good price like 2.25cr, all the buyers would have atleast some profits after long time and hence movie would have been declared as a Good HIT in overseas also, so technically Racha is a looser though it got HIT talk and good collections. Earlier this year same thing happened for Businessman also which incurred almost similar losses due to its exorbitant prices.
Conclusion: Overseas Distributors /Exhibitors know the facts and genre of the movie before quoting huge prices.

Ram Charan has set a new benchmark in terms of collections with his recent outing 'Racha'. The film which was released on April 5th turned into a money spinner at the Box Office.
In just one week, the film has raked in Rs 26.92 crore in AP and Karnataka. If the revenues of Overseas, Tamil Nadu (Tamil version Ragalai) and Rest Of India are included, then the first share will be nearly Rs 35 crore. In it's full run, the collections of Racha are expected to cross the 50 crore mark. So, it's celebration time for the Mega fans!
Ram Charan slaps in the face of Critics
The success of Racha might have given a reason for the fans to be happy, but it's definitely not a good news for the critics as their prediction turned wrong. On the first day of release itself, the film was written off by critics. Despite average content and not so encouraging reviews, 'Racha' broke the existing records in the first week.
However, the critics were not ready to give the credit to the film or it's team for the record collections, instead blaming the audience for making it success. "The success of 'Racha' is proof for the bad taste of Telugu people. Encouraging such films (5 songs, 5 fights, editing lapses and illogical scenes) is like given license to few more meaningless projects," commented a senior film critic.
On the other hand, the unit of Racha slam the critics. "Right from its inception, the team of Racha never claimed that they are making a completely different or thought provoking film. All that they said was that their film is a commercial entertainer targeted to please the fans. Giving what people expect/want from us is always the right thing to do. We make films for the Audience, not Critics," said a source close to Charan.
The success of Racha has taught a lesson to the critics - 'Audience Are The Bosses', as they are the ones who can make or break a film! It's like a slap in the face of Critics!

The actor beats frontrunner Sonu Sood to emerge as the final choice for essaying Pran?s iconic role in Zanjeer
This newspaper was the first to report that Sonu Sood was being considered for the role of Sher Khan in Apoorva Lakhia?s remake of Zanjeer.
There were also reports of Sanjay Dutt essaying the crook with a golden heart, a role immortalised by veteran actor Pran in late Prakash Mehra?s 1973 blockbuster Zanjeer. Finally, it?s Arjun Rampal who has bagged the coveted role, Mirror can now reveal.
Rampal confirmed the news and said, ?It?s a Zanjeer based in today?s times. So my look doesn?t necessarily need to be exactly like Pran saab in the original. Apoorva and I have a few ideas on my get up. We have discussed them and will shortly zero down on the final look.?
Added Rampal, ?I have seen the original Zanjeer thrice and will soon see it again. I start shooting for Apoorva?s film very soon.?
Lakhia too confirmed saying, ?Arjun?s looks and physique make him the perfect choice for a role like Sher Khan. I have worked with him in Ajnabee and he is a friend.?
Apparently, the director had been meeting Rampal at his Bandra residence for the past few days. An eyewitness at the meeting told Mirror that eventually, Rampal signed on the dotted line sometime Monday afternoon, adding, ?He looked very happy. He is very excited he has been chosen to play Sher Khan. It?s going to be a big challenge for him.?
The remake will be produced by Reliance Entertainment, Adai Mehra Productions and Flying Turtles.

All India share will be around Rs. 28 crores and the worldwide first week share will be more than Rs. 30 crore. This is the genuine first week record for any Telugu movie. Racha has beaten Businessman's record by a good margin emerged as the new number one opener for Tollywood. Producers of Racha didn't get into the fake game and have been announcing real figures and in reality Racha is the new record holder.

Cherry romance with Priyanka Chopra
Tollywood has been reporting for longtime that Ram Charan Teja is romancing Priyanka Chopra in his bollywood debut. But Priyanka after much contemplation finally gave green signal for Cherry to romance. Cherry is presently shooting for the first schedule of the film 'Zanjeer', a remake of yesteryear Amitabh's classic. Apoorva Lakhia is directing the film produced by Amit Mehra(son of Prakesh Mehra). Mahi Gill and Arjun Rampal are also playing important roles in this film.
Charan holds all the records now
Ram Charan has created new records with Magadheera in every landmark. It was the best opening film and went on to become the biggest ever grosser in Tollywood history. Even though Mahesh broke the opening records of Magadheera, he failed to touch Magadheera's full run record. Magadheera also holds the highest number of fifty days centers and hundred days centers records.
With Racha, Ram Charan broke first day and first week records and got hold of those lost records. Now he has the first day, first week, full run records apart from fifty days centers and hundred days centers records. Only NTR's Simhadri holds the highest number of silver jubilee centers record. Magadheera didn't have jubilee centers record because films running for 175 days have been history by then.
Simhadri's 175 days centers and Magadheera's 100 days and 50 days centers records won't be touched in the future due to changed business module. We will have to wait and see who will grab first day record and first week record from Cherry. Magadheera's full run record is not easy to beat. It needs something as exceptional as Magadheera to do it.

It has never been that mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej is doing a film and an actress is donning a bikini in that. Racha blockbuster @ Ram Charan's dedication
After doing record business over the first weekend, Racha continued to impress on Monday too. The collections on the fifth day are as good as third day, which indicates that Racha is going super strong at the box office. At this rate Racha will break first week record (AP and India) of Businessman by a very good margin.
Luckily, for Racha there is no major release in this week. Adhinayakudu was postponed to 19th of April and therefore Racha will still remain the first choice film for audience even in its second week. Added to that tenth class exams are over now and students and their families will throng to the theaters to catch the latest blockbuster.

If Charan fans are feeling bad about missing the chance of bagging more collections, they need not worry much because Cherry's next film is going to be much bigger for sure. Charan's immediate release after Racha would be Vinayak's movie. This will be released for Dussera. With a star director of Vinayak's caliber, sky will be the limit for Charan's mass movie.
With Racha, Charan has turned the favorite of mass cinema specialists. We can expect a film each from Boyapati Srinu, Puri Jagannadh and other big mass directors in the coming days. If Charan proves to be consistent and maintains a good success rate, then the discussion of number one hero will find a certain answer.

'Content Kam... Collections Jyaada', that is Racha for you. This film was labeled as a pretty average and routine fare by the critics. But the movie clicked well with the target audience and has been doing tremendously well at the box office. After creating a new record in opening day collections, Racha went on to collect around 16 crore rupees share in just three days, in AP alone.
The collections were superb on Sunday too. Early estimates say that the film collected more than four crores on the fourth day in AP. Which means the first weekend (four days) collections in AP alone are over 20 crore rupees. Even if the film slows down from Monday, it is highly likely to cross 30 crore mark in full in run in AP. When the collections from other regions are added the final tally will be more than Rs. 35 crore.
If Racha doesn't slow down from the fourth day and continues its good run in the week days and stays steady for a couple more weeks, then the overall collections will be more than 40 crore rupees. In all probabilities, Racha proved critics wrong by turning into a massive hit. Bottom line from this story is never rule out a mass film's success. We can never estimate a mass movie's potential at the box office.

Telugu film Rachha is a potboiler meant for the masses and not for a discerning audience. Sampath Nandi dishes out a film replete with commercial ingredients in a stereotypical pattern. It defies logic and is pretty predictable too.
Sampath Nandi has nothing new to offer but has ensured that there's no logic in many places. For example, when Raj and Chaitra are on the run, they enter into a bamboo forest in China where they are attacked by the Chinese! This scene was not much of a value addition except to show that the cast and crew went all the way to China to shoot.
Also imagine a man being hit and falling in the sanctum at the feet of the idol! The violence in the film comes across as unnecessary too.
The comedians Brahmanandam, Ali, Krishna Bhagwan, Venu Madhav, Tagobothu Ramesh bring in some laughtereven though they are inane.
Ram Charan does a good job with his action sequences and dance moves. Sampath Nandi has etched his role in such a way that his fans will surely enjoy watching him in this film.
Tamannaah is an eye candy in the film, especially in the song Vaana Vaana Velluvaaye. She looks glamorous though her role is nothing much to talk about.
Ajmal Amir makes his presence felt though one wished this talented actor was given more screen time. His characterisation was intriguing.
Parthiban and Nasser don't appear for too long and seem wasted in this film. For actors who play negative characters like Mukesh Rishi, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Dev Gill such roles are easy as they have done it in many films.
Sameer Reddy has done a good job with his camera. Mani Sharma's music was just about okay.
Rachha is basically for Charan's fans who may be happy after the disastrous Orange. For others, Rachha offers nothing.

About an hour into the film, Ram Charan tells Tamannaah, ?Hum bahar se bahuth accha... Hum tere liye idar vaccha... donno mile tho racha,? and the audience laps it up with a thunderous applause. Racha is made-to-order for Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan fans. The canvas is larger than life and there is no budget constraint. So, visual effects come into play to add zing to the hero's unfaltering steps in dance sequences
Racha has a lot going for it, from the high-on-adrenaline stunts to situational comedy and an indulgent display of Ram Charan's dancing prowess. The punch dialogues are targeted at the actor's fans. To sample a few, ?Nuvvu aristhe arupule. Nenu aristhe merupule? and ?Edo choosukuni thodalu kotte type kaadu ra nenu?. As an actor, Ram Charan shows mettle.
On the flip side, the film gives no scope for any of the supporting actors to shine. Ajmal, Brahmanandam, Jhansi, Ali, Dev Gill and a host of others are relegated to props. A talented actress like Geeta gets wasted in a minuscule role. Nasser and Parthiban appear in guest roles. Tamannaah has nothing to do apart from providing the glamour quotient.
Within the framework of pleasing the actor's fan clubs, the film works. But the sense of d?j? vu in the tale of revenge is palpable. Even when you tune yourself into watching a mass entertainer and don't expect anything intellectually stimulating, you do miss the ingenuity and spark that were the hallmark of mass entertainer blockbusters like Singham, Pokiri or Kick.
Go without expectations and you will be entertained.

Charan does a decent job of playing a complete mass character in this flick, a first for him. But it isn't a performance that will make you go wow. When you beat up a hundred guys in just your second flick, it sort of becomes hard to keep bettering that film after film. He tries hard nevertheless. Tamannah has an important role to play and she does the needful. She does add more than glamour value to the film. Baddies, Mukesh Rishi and Kota Srinivas Rao do the expected.
As far as the narrative goes, it suffers from over simplification and is too formulaic. A racy stunt sequence is followed a forced comic track or a dream song. The potpourri doesn't quite come together and too many glitches end up catching your attention. The stunt sequences are the biggest letdown. There are too many of them, but none that really stand out. The music is also passable at best with the exception of "Vaan Vaana Villu Vaye . . ."

"Rachcha" lacks a credible storyline with lacklustre and ordinary presentation.
Although it is technically well-versed, the film is essentially a formulaic presentation with a mix of everything. The action sequences have taken a little more space than the other commercial elements.
The director has taken a beaten path, which lacks variety and freshness. Even the music of the film by veteran composer Mani Sharma fails to strike a chord with the audience.
However, the major attraction of the film is lead actress Tamanna, who sizzles on the screen. She looks gorgeous and creates an impression with her energetic performance. There is not a single dull moment when she is on screen.
The glamour quotient in the "Vaana vaana" song is aimed at pleasing the younger audience and Tamanna scores well throughout the song.
Ramcharan's action and dance sequences are a treat to his fans and remind of his father Chiranjeevi. He shows lot of style and energy in his performance, but fails to make an impact in emotional sequences.
Comic actors Brahmanandam, Ali, Venu Madhav and Krishna Bhagawan excel with their performances. Mukesh Rishi, Kota Sreenivasa Rao and Dev Gill, who play the baddies, are also quite impressive.

After the debacle of Orange, Ram Charan set his eyes on mass masala movies. So, director Nandi has tried everything in his book to recreate the magic of the 90s, a period where Chiranjeevi ruled the screen. So, there are a number of dialogues and dance sequences where Ramcharan tries to imitate his father. He does it even in dialogue delivery when he controversially says, ?Edo choosukuni thodalu kotte type kaadura nenu.? (I do not beat thighs like others). This seems like targeting a rival hero whose next movie will be released shortly. After all this, if you still wonder what Rachcha means? Even the heroine asks the hero same question to which the hero throws off a scooter singlehandedly and says that is Rachcha, his style. So, you can expect lot of ?extras? like this all throughout the movie.
It will be a comeback movie for music director Mani Sharma who has struck the right chord after a long time. It has to be said that he was ably supported by Charan who sets screen on fire with his dancing skills. Acting-wise, Charan delivers and he has always praised Tamanna for her role and the way she carries herself with grace though it appears that her make-up is overdone a bit. The others ? Mukesh Rishi and Kota Srinivas Rao ? have done justice to their roles.
As a debut director, Sampat Nandi shows his nervousness in the beginning though he gets the grip as it progresses. The way he utilised Brahamandam and Ali deserves special mention. Apart from the predictability factor, the climax too is a big let-down. Watchable, once.

Ram Charan is the new Megastar
When Ram Charan created history with Magadheera, most of the film analysts and other heroes fans gave credit to Rajamouli. They didn't even consider the fact that Rajamouli has done films with other heroes in the past and has never broken industry record even once. When Orange flopped, critics again said that Magadheera's credit solely goes to Rajamouli.
But a real mass hero's stamina can't be estimated with a film like Orange. When Racha was announced with a relatively new director, who directed a B grade film as his debut, then the same critics and analysts again said that this film will be the litmus test for Ram Charan's stamina as a star. First three movies of Charan were directed by proved directors. Racha was directed by Sampath Nandi, whose name is not known to many of the regular filmgoers even.

Racha Premiere Talk: Not Beyond Expectations
For few lucky guys from Film Industry, Ram Charan's today's releasing movie 'Racha' was premiered last night. Here goes the first talk about it.
Apparently, 'Racha' kind of subject is new for Ram Charan but is a regular mass masala movie done by his contemporaries like Jr.NTR. Sources reveal that the film is very much normal in terms of story but the thrilling action sequences and dialogues carry punch. Tamanna's glamour in a couple of songs makes audience glue stronger to seats as they go out of control with over heat generated.
The source adds that one should watch this movie for its commercial values and without any expectations. Director Sampath too made it clear that the movie looks like Shankar's flicks, old stories with extra-ordinary treatment. Anyway, in a few hours the actual talk is going to be out. Babai Defeated By Abbai At Overseas
If the Nandamuri family has got a duo of Babai-Abbai even the mega family has got one duo. They are the duo of Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan Tej. Usually it is considered that in the mega family, it is the power star who rules the roost when it comes to market price for his films.
However, it appears that this time Charan seems to have got better. This has happened in the overseas market. Reports say that Charan?s new movie ?Racha? has been sold for a whopping Rs 2.65 crores overseas. And this got Ganesh Babu, producer of Pawan?s ?Gabbar Singh? to beat the figure.
But then, sources say that despite his best efforts, Ganesh Babu could not get more than Rs 2.5 crores and he finally settled for that. That way, Abbai has defeated Babai. But this is simply the beginning. The real result will be known once both the films release and their collections at the box office are recorded.

రామ్ చరణ్ తాజా చిత్రం రచ్చ ఏప్రియల్ 5న అత్యధిక ప్రింట్లతో విడుదల అవుతోంది. ఈ చిత్రంలో రామ్ చరణ్ మెడికో గా కనిపించనున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రం పాటలు విడుదలైన దగ్గరనుంచి ప్రి రిలీజ్ హంగామా మొదలైపోయింది. ఏమైంది ఈ వేళ వంటి చిన్న చిత్రం డైరక్ట్ చేసిన సంపత్ నందికి ఇంత పెద్ద చిత్రం ఆఫర్ రావటంతో అంతా ఈ చిత్రం వైపు ఆసక్తిగా చూస్తున్నారు. అందులోనూ రామ్ చరణ్ ఆరెంజ్ వంటి మెగా ప్లాప్ తర్వాత చేస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రం చాలా అంచనాలే ఉన్నాయి. మాస్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ గా దీన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దుతున్నామని మొదటి రోజు నుంచి చెప్పటం,అబిమానులు ఏమైతే ఆశిస్తున్నారో ఆ ఎలిమెంట్స్ అన్నీ ఉన్నాయని హామీ ఇవ్వటం ఈ సినిమాకు విపరీతమైన హైప్ తెచ్చిపెట్టింది.
'రచ్చ' అంటే ఆనందంతో సెలబ్రేట్ చేసుకునేది అని మా చిత్రంలోని అర్థం. చిత్ర కథ కూడా అలాగే ఉంటుంది. హీరో ఎప్పుడూ అన్నింటిలో ముందుండాలనుకునే వ్యక్తి. అందరినీ ఎలా రచ్చ చేశాడు అన్నది పాయింట్. అని దర్సకుడు సంపత్ నంది తమ చిత్రం రచ్చ చిత్రం టైటిల్ గురించి చెప్పారు. అలాగే మణిశర్మ ఆడియోకు మంచి స్పందన వచ్చింది. చిన్నిచరణ్, చంద్రబోస్ చక్కటి సాహిత్యాన్ని అందించారు. 'తిల్లా తిల్లా తెల్లకోడిపిల్ల..' అనే పాట చిత్రానికి హైలైట్గా నిలుస్తుంది అన్నారు.

ఇక ముఖ్యంగా చైనాలో చిత్రీకరించిన ఫైట్, గోవాలో తీసిన కారు ఛేజ్ ఊపిరిసలపనివ్వని విధంగా చిత్రీకరించారు. పరుచూరి బ్రదర్స్ చాలా గ్యాప్ తర్వాత రాసిన మాస్ డైలాగ్స్ ధియోటర్స్ లో విజిల్స్ వేయిస్తాయి. ఇప్పటికే ఆ డైలాగ్స్ తో కట్ చేసిన ట్రైలర్ విపరీతమైన హైప్ క్రియేట్ చేసింది. ఎక్కడా లాగ్ లేకుండా రాపిడ్ స్పీడు తో ఈ యాక్షన్ ఎంటర్ ఎక్కడా బోర్ కొట్టనివ్వదని సెన్సార్ టాక్. పాటల్లో తీస్ మార్ ఖాన్ రచ్చ ,వాన వాన వెల్లువాయే రెండూ టాప్ గా ఉండి అబిమానులను ఉర్రూతలూగిస్తాయి.

‘రచ్చ’ కోసం సెన్సార్ బోర్డుపై చిరంజీవి ఒత్తిడి?
చిరంజీవి తనయుడు రామ్ చరణ్ తేజ్ నటించిన ‘రచ్చ’ చిత్రం రేపు విడుదలవుతున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. రెండు రోజుల క్రితమే ఈ చిత్రం సెన్సార్ పూర్తి చేసుకుంది. ఈ చిత్రానికి సెన్సార్ బోర్డు సభ్యులు ఊ/ఆ సర్టిఫికెట్ జారీ చేశారు. కొన్ని అభ్యంతరకర సన్నివేశాలు, డైలాగులు కత్తిరించిన అనంతరం సెన్సార్ బోర్డు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.

అయితే సెన్సార్ బోర్డు సభ్యురాలు ధన లక్ష్మి ఎలాంటి ఒత్తిళ్లకు లొంగకుండా డబుల్ మీనింగ్ డైలాగులు, పిల్లలు చూడటానికి వీల్లేని సన్నివేశాలకు నిస్సంకోచంగా కత్తెర పెట్టిందని అంటున్నారు. గతంలోనూ ధన లక్ష్మి పూరి పలు చిత్రాల విషయంలోనూ ఇలానే స్ట్రిక్ట్ గా తన డ్యూటీ నిర్వహించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. చిరంజీవి ఇటువంటి విషయాల్లో జోక్యం చేసుకోరని, ధనలక్ష్మి నిష్పాక్షికంగా వ్యవహరించిన సందర్భాలు చాలా ఉన్నాయని, అందువల్ల చిరంజీవి ఒత్తిడి పెట్టారనే వాదనలో ఏ మాత్రం నిజం లేదని అంటున్నారు.

Will Bollywood Legend Big B be a part of Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej?s ?Zanjeer??. Media reports seem to indicate this and the makers are neither supporting nor denying the reports. Charan will soon begin work on the movie,which is a remake of Superstar Amitabh Bachchan?s iconic blockbuster with the same name.
Apoorva Lakhia is directing this flick and shooting will begin from April 20th. Amit Mehra is producing the movie in collaboration with Reliance Entertainments and Eros Entertainments. This film will be a mega budget bilingual and will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
Ram Charan Targets Balakrishna in Racha
The intense competition between Mega and Nandamuri fans at box-office is an universal fact. The fans of both the families will often lock horns in terms of collections, dialogues and records whenever their favorite hero's films hit the screens. It seems that dominance has now caught up with Ram Charan who is locking horns with Balakrishna's 'Adhinayakudu' at box-office this summer. The news is that a dialogue in Ram Charan's 'Racha' is creating flutters among the fans of both the heroes. Mega fans claim that the dialogue ?Charitra Rayadaniki Vayasu Tho Pani Ledu - Prajala Andunte Chaalu? is a retort to Balayya's powerful dialogue in 'Simha' which goes like ?Charitra Srushtinchalanna Meme, Tiragarayalanna Meme?.
The story behind this dialogue is well known to its makers but the over enthusiastic fans of the actors have already crossed swords as and soon the dialogues trailer of Racha arrived. So guys what do you think? Is Ram Charan purposely targetted Balakrishna or it's just a coincidence?
Updated 'Racha' US Prints Status
Looks like megafans will be disappointed with this news. As of now, only 5 prints left from Hyderabad to USA. They will reach LA in the afternoon on Wednesday. Rest of the prints are still in India and they are yet to start. It means, they will not arrive in USA by the time premiers starts in different centers of east coast tomorrow.
